Safeguard your devices with automatic updates

Regularly updating your devices as a state employee is one of the best ways to keep your devices and content secure. These updates often include crucial security enhancements that protect your device, networks and data.

Action Steps: 

• Enable automatic updates for your office issued or authorized phones and tablets. (Apple iPhones have a recent security update, so make sure to install the update.)
• Update required apps through the app store to ensure you are using the most up-to-date versions with security patches.

• Follow your IT staff guidance for updates of your office issued devices for operating systems, browser and security updates.
