Fiscal Year Memo 2024-24: Fiscal Year 2024 Higher Education Audit Guidance
This guide complements the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) Statement 35 Implementation Guide which is documented in various other policies and procedures. This guide relates to the preparation of the Commonwealth’s Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) for Fiscal Year 2024.
Financial Statements must be completed and submitted on time for the FY2024 audit. Please include all proper disclosures in the notes to the basic financial statements, as described on pages 13 – 14 of this guide. FINAL Financial Statements are due by Thursday October 31, 2024, to the Office of the Comptroller (CTR) at the dedicated email address: [email protected].
All Institutions of Higher Education (HE) schedules will be completed and submitted through Workiva (Wdesk). An introductory guide of Wdesk is attached with this memo as Attachment C. Current Wdesk access is set to be the same preparer(s) as last year. For any Wdesk security access change, add or remove, please send an email to [email protected].
