Are your passwords long enough, strong enough, and protected?
Long and strong passwords are crucial to protect your applications and systems from cyber criminals. Criminals use artificial intelligence (AI) to detect weak, reused or similar passwords. Reusing passwords makes it easier for hackers to break into your accounts, steal your identity and data, and money. Once in, they can lock you out of your own accounts.
Action step:
- Create unique, long passwords with 16+ characters, phrases and symbols that are not shared or similar to other accounts, especially social media accounts.
