The biggest cyber threat to employees is emails, calls, or text that seem to be legitimate. Cybercriminals gather information to trick employees that they are fellow employees, vendor, or constituent. Artificial intelligence is also being used to increase the frequency and quality of attacks.

As we approach the closing of the fiscal year, we expect that the volume of attempts to increase. Remember to ‘Pause, Verify, Report’ to protect your department from an incident: Pause before your open a link or attachment that seems suspicious, Verify that requests are legitimate, Report suspicious emails or requests to your IT Team.
